Sarah Thorson Little has been a lead instructor at the University of Washington in the Certificate Program in Genealogy and Family History since 1989, and is a past president of the Seattle Genealogical Society.  She is a professional genealogist and member of the Association of Professional Genealogists. Perhaps her career as a social worker led to her interest in genealogy. Sarah has done research in every major archive and library in the United States. Her specialties are eighteenth through twentieth century America, Scandinavian ancestry and Washington State genealogy. Sarah has also worked for private investigators and lawyers to locate missing persons. Over the past 25 years, Sarah has seen research methodology changed by the advent of the copy machine and today's computer tools.
