Professional Genealogists (APG) - Puget Sound Chapter |
APG is an independent organization whose principal purpose is to support professional genealogists in all phases of their work: from the amateur genealogist wishing to turn knowledge and skill into a vocation, to the experienced professional seeking to exchange ideas with colleagues and to upgrade the profession as a whole. The association also seeks to protect the interest of those engaging the services of the professional. |
| American Historical Society of Germans from Russia (AHSGR) - Greater Seattle Chapter | The American Historical Society of Germans from Russia is an international, non-profit educational organization. The group's purpose is to bring together people interested in the history of Germans from Russia, and promote a better appreciation of their history and preservation of the culture. The Greater Seattle Chapter has been active in furthering the goals of AHSGR on the local level since being founded in 1975. The Chapter hosted the annual AHSGR National Convention in 1979 and in 1992 co-hosted the convention with the Rainier Chapter located in Tacoma, Washington. |

| CTGenWeb.org |
Maureen Mead is the State Coordinator of CTGenWeb.org. As part of the
USGenWeb Project, our mission is to provide a single entry point for all
counties and towns within the state of Connecticut. She's also been the
Fairfield County Coordinator for CTGenWeb since 1996. Maureen Mead is a
career professional graphic designer and is available for print and web
projects, including logos, flyers, books and other genealogy-related
material. In the 90's, she led the New England SIG with The Genealogy
Forum on AOL, developed its first website and served as its delegate to
FGS. Maureen is a member of Sacajawea Chapter DAR and the Olympia
Genealogical Society. |
| Daughters of American Colonists - Snoqualmie Falls Chapter | The NSDAC is a lineage society that conducts research as to the history and deeds of the American colonists, commemorates deeds of colonial interest, and fosters love of America and its institutions by all residents. |

the American Revolution (DAR) - Cascade Chapter |
The DAR is a lineage society for descendants of those who aided in achieving American independence. The society maintains a genealogical records collection at the Seattle Public Library, and other libraries. |
| Daughters of the Utah Pioneers (DUP) | The DUP was organized solely for historical, educational and public purposes and is completely non-political and non-sectarian. It is dedicated to perpetuating the names and achievements of those men, women, and children who founded Utah. The Pioneer Memorial Museum in Salt Lake City houses the world's largest collection of artifacts on one subject. Included in this collection are over 300,000 pioneer histories and 80,000 pioneer photographs that are available to the public. |
| Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War | The DUVCW is a lineage society for direct descendants of veterans of the Union Army, 1861-1865. |
| DMT Publishing | In the past to produce a family history book, one needed to order hundreds or even thousands of copies to get the unit cost low enough for the average family to afford. DMT Publishing (Digital Marketing Technology) offers the family history sector the ability to produce short run, low-cost, hard bound or soft bound books. |
| Eastside Genealogical Society (EGS) | The EGS provides members a forum for learning and the exchange of information related to genealogy. It obtains and provides resources for use by members, encourages genealogical research and documentation and aids in organizing and computerizing local records related to genealogy. |
| FamilySearch Indexing | FamilySearch Indexing is a project sponsored by FamilySearch.org, where volunteers extract family history information from digital images of historical documents to create searchable indexes that assist everyone in finding their ancestors. |
| Fiske Genealogical Library | The Fiske Genealogical Library has many of genealogical materials not readily available, especially for those townships east of the Mississippi River. |
| GenQuick Books | GenQuick Books specializes in quality genealogy books to help you find genealogical information free on the Internet. They will have three books to display. Genealogy Fast Fun Free is a general book that helps you get started on Internet Genealogy. Genealogy Fast Fun Free-Canada lists hundreds of pages of Canadian resources and how to use them. Their latest book, Free Military Records Around the World is a source book for all things military on the web that pertain to genealogy |
| Huguenot Society of Washington State | Huguenots were French Protestants that either fled or remained in France at great peril and persecution between 1536 and 1787. Many thousands fled to Holland, England, Ireland, Switzerland, America, Cape of Good Hope, Germany, and Northeastern Europe. The Huguenot Society is a lineage society for direct descendants of a known Huguenot. |

The IGHS collects and preserves information illustrative of Ireland's past and present. The IGHS web site hosts individual family histories and displays them in one searchable list. |

| The MagiKey | The MagiKey, LLC is a family-owned and operated business, specializing in genealogy/family history education and training. | National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) | The National Archives maintains retired records from Federal agencies and courts in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. The Seattle facility has extensive microfilm holdings of value for genealogy research. |
| Northwest African American Museum | The mission of the Northwest African American Museum is to be a vibrant community gathering place, a place where youth, adults and families can honor the past and articulate the future. The Museum documents and exhibits the unique historical and cultural experiences of African Americans in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. The Museum is a generative institution whose momentum will capture history and culture as it occurs, synthesizing what it means for today and tomorrow. |
| Puget Sound Regional Archives | The Puget Sound Regional Branch provides a variety of resources to aid you in your genealogy research, as well as an Online Census Search. |
| Scandinavian Interest Group (EGS) | This is the Scandinavian SIG of the Eastside Genealogical Society. |
| Seattle Genealogical Society (SGS) | The Seattle Genealogical Society maintains a research library, publishes a bulletin and newsletter, and sponsors a wide range of educational activities and events. It also has several Special Interest Groups with additional meetings and events. The SGS library has an outstanding genealogical collection: some of the materials are not available elsewhere in the west. SGS makes available books, pamphlets, periodicals, and data CD's for researching various parts of the United States and other countries as well. Computers and a wireless Internet connection are also available for researchers. Periodically, the Society publishes resource materials. Members are encouraged to visit the library often, to share their skills and expertise, to meet new people and expand their own genealogical horizons. All members of SGS have unlimited access to the library. |

| United Daughters of the Confederacy - Robert E. Lee Chapter | The UDC is a lineage society for direct descendants of veterans of the Confederate Army, 1861-1865. The nationwide UDC collects and preserves rare books, documents, diaries, letters, personal records, and other papers of historical importance relating to the period 1861 to 1865. |
